17 June 2025, US: New common name approved on 15th June 2025 for a meta-diamide insecticide from Zhejiang Udragon Pesticides and Chemicals Co. Ltd. Development code SYN2971, Chinese common name 氟溴虫酰胺.
N-[3-[[[2-bromo-4-[1,2,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-(trifluoromethyl)ethyl]-6-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino]carbonyl]-2-fluorophenyl]-4-fluoro-N-(2-methoxyethyl)benzamide [2922115-20-4]
No objections have been received for the name “trioxyflanilide”, so it has become approved and will be included in a new edition of ISO 1750 that will include preferred names as well as common names.
