Controlling Powdery Mildew in Mangoes with Dinocap 48% EC

18 May 2025, New Delhi: Dinocap 48% EC is a non-systemic fungicide effective against powdery mildew, especially during flowering and early fruit development in mango orchards. It has been authorized by the Central Insecticide Board for agricultural use, assuring both safety and efficacy.

Dinocap is applied at a concentration of 2.4 grams active ingredient per hectare with a formulation dose of 5 grams. The standard water dilution is 10 liters per hectare. While the product is potent in action, there is no official waiting period mentioned; however, caution is advised to avoid residue accumulation.

By acting on the surface of leaves and infected areas, Dinocap disrupts fungal cell respiration, reducing mildew growth rapidly. Its quick knock-down effect makes it a go-to option for immediate mildew control.
