Crop Protection Advisory for Mango Farmers in India

18 May 2025, New Delhi: Anthracnose is a common post-harvest fungal disease in mango that causes black lesions on the fruit, leading to market losses. Copper Oxychloride 50% WG is a protectant fungicide approved for Anthracnose control.

This fungicide should be applied at 0.12% a.i. (120 g per 100 liters of water) with a formulation of 0.24% or 240 g per 100 liters of water, depending on the spraying equipment used. Water dilution is done as required and depends upon the plant protection (PP) equipment.
