Conference on Promoting High-Quality Development of International Agricultural Cooperation Held in Kunming
10 December 2025, China: The Conference on Promoting High-Quality Development of International Agricultural Cooperation was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, from November 27–28. Tao Huaiying, Chief Veterinary Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) of China, attended the conference and delivered remarks.
The conference reviewed the achievements in international agricultural cooperation during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and outlined key tasks for the next stage. The conference emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, focus on advancing high-quality development, and expand high-level opening-up. It also called for formulating clear objectives, main tasks, and key measures to promote high-quality development of international agricultural cooperation during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, while ensuring the effective implementation of near-term priorities, so as to achieve new outcomes in international agricultural cooperation.
Relevant departments and bureaus of MARA, the Ministry of Commerce, and agriculture and rural affairs departments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, along with the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, participated in the conference.
