Balwaan Krishi Expands Manufacturing and Distribution Network in India

18 September 2025, MumbaiBalwaan Krishi, an Indian agritech startup, has expanded its manufacturing and distribution network to increase its reach across the country. The company opened a manufacturing hub in Jaipur and established regional warehouses in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, the Northeast, and Kashmir.

These new facilities complement existing hubs in Maharashtra, Assam, and West Bengal, forming a network aimed at improving access to farm machinery. The expansion is expected to create over 500 jobs and provide quicker access to equipment in line with regional crop cycles.

With funding from JM Financial Private Equity, Balwaan has invested in increasing manufacturing capacity, warehousing infrastructure, and crop-specific solutions. The company plans to use these resources to support its growth targets by FY 2026.

Founded in 2016 by Rohit Bajaj and Shubham Bajaj, Balwaan Krishi has served over one million farmers and partnered with more than 2,000 dealers, including 575 at the tehsil level. The company also operates on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Moglix.
