The Fendt 312 Vario Gen5 is positioned in the middle of the 300 Vario series, offering a perfect blend of compact size and enhanced performance. With 133 hp of maximum output, it is a versatile tractor designed to meet the needs of medium and large farms that require flexibility across fieldwork, livestock management, and transport.
Engine and Power Output
The tractor is powered by the AGCO Power 44 HD engine, delivering 123 hp rated power and up to 133 hp with Fendt DynamicPerformance. With 650 Nm torque at 1,500 rpm, the 312 Vario ensures strong pulling ability while maintaining fuel efficiency.
Its advanced electronic fuel management system and automatic valve clearance adjustment keep the engine running smoothly and economically, even under continuous heavy loads.
Stepless Vario Transmission
Fendt’s Vario transmission ensures efficient, seamless driving with no gear changes. Operators can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h without interruptions, making the tractor equally suitable for precise field tasks and long transport runs.
With TMS and Limit Load Control 2.0, the tractor maintains optimal fuel efficiency, automatically adjusting performance to match working conditions.
Hydraulic Power and PTO Flexibility
The load-sensing hydraulic system delivers 110 l/min, capable of powering multiple implements simultaneously. With up to seven electronic valves, the tractor is perfectly suited for modern farming machinery.
The PTO system offers 540, 540E, and 1000 rpm speeds, ensuring flexibility for everything from mowing to heavy-duty forage work. Optional front PTO further expands its versatility.
Lift Capacity and Implement Handling
The rear lift capacity of 5,960 daN allows the 312 Vario to manage heavy implements with ease. The front lift with 3,130 daN ensures flexibility in municipal and field applications, while relief control enables precise ground contour following.
Fuel and Emission Standards
A 210-litre diesel tank and 23-litre AdBlue tank enable extended operation without frequent refuelling. The tractor’s Stage V compliance is achieved through DOC, DPF, and SCR systems, ensuring low emissions and environmentally friendly performance.
Reliability and Cooling
The 312 Vario Gen5 features a robust cooling package with a Visctronic fan, guaranteeing efficient cooling and minimal fuel consumption. Long service intervals and a separate oil circuit for hydraulics and transmission reduce downtime and improve durability.

The cab design prioritises operator comfort with intuitive controls, quiet operation, and excellent visibility. Safety is enhanced by the Trailer Brake Assistant and advanced LED lighting system, making the tractor reliable for day and night operations.
