Mahindra Farm Machinery launches new Groundnut Thresher for Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh Farmers
29 October 2025, Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the launch of its new Groundnut Thresher. The machine is designed to be tractor-powered and enables accurate threshing by separating groundnuts from their pods. It helps save time, reduce wastage, and improve overall output.
The Groundnut Thresher is suitable for farmers in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Its compact structure allows easy operation and reduces dependence on manual labour. The equipment also helps improve tractor utilization and enables flexible scheduling during the harvesting period.
The thresher includes a system for monitoring grain quality and loss in real time, allowing operators to make timely adjustments and minimize field residue. It is useful in conditions where early cutting and delayed threshing are required.
Mahindra currently offers over 30 thresher models across crops and regions. The company first entered the thresher segment over a decade ago with two models for paddy and wheat, later expanding to 12 models to meet regional and crop-specific needs.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Anusha Kothandaraman, Vice President & Business Head – Farm Machinery & Precision Farming, Mahindra Farm Equipment Business, said, “At Mahindra, we have developed the new Groundnut Thresher by working closely with farmers to address the need for mechanized groundnut harvesting. With over 30 models in our thresher range, this addition strengthens our efforts to expand mechanization in Indian agriculture. The new model will be available at Mahindra Farm Machinery and select Mahindra Tractor dealerships in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.”
