Global Agriculture’s parent organization ‘Krishak Jagat‘ – National Agriculture Newspaper has been recognized and awarded for its work towards the farming community on various platforms. One of the most rewarding achievement of Krishak Jagat has been its Recognition & Award by ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) for Excellence in Rural Journalism.
A few landmark awards of Krishak Jagat have been shared below:
ICAR-IARI Best Print Media 2025 – Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) the apex institution for agriculture research in the India has recognised Krishak Jagat for actively advancing agricultural technology adoption through its print media and enhancing digital extension services to better connect with farmers across India. Krishak Jagat’s efforts have been recognized for their impact in bridging the gap between innovation and on-ground implementation. The award was given in the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member, NITI Aayog, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director & Vice Chancellor – IARI, Dr. D. K. Yadav, Deputy Director General (Crop Science), ICAR and Dr. R. N. Padaria, Joint Director (Extension), IARI.
Chaudhary Charan Singh Award – For Excellence in Journalism in Agricultural Research & Development 2002 given by Ministry of Agriculture, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (GOI), New Delhi. Shri Rajnath Singh, Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of India presented the award.
National Magnum Honor Award 2000 – for serving the farmers & agriculture related fields through Krishak Jagat given by Magnum Foundation, Nagpur. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Digvijay Singh Presented the award.
Rashtriya Ratna Shiromani Award 2003 – for excellent achievement in agriculture sector & selfless services to the Nation given by Modern India Interaction Society, New Delhi. Shri Raja Pateria, Minister Technical Education, Govt. of M.P., presented the award.
R C F Award 1997 – for outstanding contribution in agricultural production, rural development & social work given by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd, Mumbai.
