Kan Biosys Launches ROFA Specialty Fertilizers and Indigenous Neem-Based Products
06 July 2025, Pune: Kan Biosys, an Indian agri-biotech company, announced the launch of two new product lines to support sustainable farming practices in India. These include ROFA (Real Optimised Fertilizer Application), a range of imported specialty fertilizers developed in collaboration with De Sangosse, France, and a new series of neem-based formulations developed indigenously by Kan Biosys.
ROFA – Specialty Fertilizers for Precision Farming
The company introduced 12 water-soluble fertilizers under the ROFA brand, designed to provide targeted nutrient delivery across diverse agro-climatic conditions. These products aim to enhance nutrient efficiency, particularly through foliar applications.
Ms. Sandeepa Kanitkar, Managing Director of Kan Biosys and President of BASAI, stated, “While ROFA stands for Real Optimised Fertilizer Application, I believe ‘R’ also represents respect for farmers. With ROFA, we are bringing proven French technology to Indian agriculture.”
Neem-Based Products – Integrating Traditional Knowledge with Research
In addition to ROFA, Kan Biosys launched three neem-based agricultural products. Developed using indigenous knowledge and scientific research, these residue-free solutions are intended to reduce chemical dependency in farming and support plant health.
