Capital Participation in Innova Agrotecnologia in Brazil Nissan Accelerates Biological Business Through Strategic Partnership
04 December 2025, Brazil: Nissan Chemical Corporation (Headquarter: Tokyo Japan, Representative Director, President: YAGI Shinsuke) made a strategic investment in INNOVA Agrotecnologia (Headquarter: City of Foz do Iguaçu Brazil), a biological company in which IHARABRAS S.A. INDÚSTRIAS QUÍMICAS (Headquarter: City of Sorocaba Brazil, President: Julio Borges) is the largest shareholder. This investment aims to accelerate the development of Nissan Chemical’s biologicals business in Brazil.
INNOVA is one of the leading biologicals companies in Brazil and owning its own manufacturing facilities and sales network in Brazil. This strategic partnership of Nissan with IHARA will bring enhanced features of R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of biologicals in Brazil for both companies.
And as Nissan described in the Long-term Business Plan “Atelier2050”, by establishing the microbial control technology, we operationalize life science business and environment & energy business in addition to microbial agrochemicals, and those businesses contribute to solving diverse social issues.
