LATAM Agrochemical Regulatory Pathways to Be Showcased at 23rd Forum AllierBrasil in India
27 October 2025, Hyderabad: The 23rd Forum AllierBrasil is set to take place on November 5, 2025, at Novotel Hyderabad Airport, bringing together global agribusiness leaders, regulatory experts, and policymakers to explore LATAM agrochemical regulatory pathways and emerging business opportunities in Brazil and Latin America.
Organized by AllierBrasil, the full-day event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will focus on pesticide registration frameworks, bioinput regulation, and market access strategies for Indian and international companies seeking to expand their footprint in the Latin American agrochemical sector.
The event will open with remarks by Flavio Hirata, MBA and Agronomist (Esalq/USP), pesticide registration expert and partner at AllierBrasil. Hirata will set the stage with an overview of Brazil’s evolving pesticide and bioinput registration landscape.
The sessions will feature a lineup of prominent speakers from Brazil’s agribusiness and government sectors. Daniel Dias, Chairman of the Board at AgriConnection and former Executive Director at Indofil Brasil, will present the Brazilian pesticide market overview, while Lucas Cardoso Santos, National Commercial Manager at Louis Dreyfus Company, will share insights into the company’s role in Brazil’s agricultural sector.
A key highlight of the forum will be the launch of look2agro™, a new global networking and AgSearch platform designed to connect professionals and businesses across the agribusiness value chain.
The agenda also includes detailed sessions on “Opening Up a Branch in Brazil: Steps, Requirements, Time, and Costs,” led by Hirata, providing practical guidance for Indian firms looking to enter the Brazilian market.
Further sessions will cover pesticide registration procedures, cost reduction in laboratory testing, and biological product regulations. Shadia Katari Nossllala, MSc, Agronomist and Technical Commercial Manager at ALS Brasil, along with Diogo Zoltay, Laboratory Manager at ALS Brasil, will elaborate on laboratory procedures for biological products.
Regulatory insights will be shared by Marina Dourado, Federal Agricultural Inspector and Head of Technical Product Registration at the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil, and Tatiane Almeida do Nascimento, Head of Formulated Product Registration at the same ministry. Both will present the latest updates in pesticide and biological product registration and regulation.
The event will conclude with a closing session summarizing key discussions, followed by networking opportunities for Indian agrochemical industry participants.
