2025 Climate Guide for Farmers in Nigeria Officially Released

08 July 2025, Abuja: The 2025 Climate Guide for Farmers in Nigeria has officially been released by the Agrocentric Creativity Initiative Platform for Agricultural Awareness Amongst Youths (ACIPAAY), a hub founded to foster agricultural awareness and increase youth participation in agriculture.

This timely and practical guide provides simplified climate information, projected weather patterns, and actionable strategies for farmers, extension workers, agribusinesses, educators, and policy actors across the country. It is designed to help strengthen resilience and promote informed agricultural planning in the face of rising climate unpredictability.

The project brought together 21 young agricultural professionals across Nigeria (West Africa) who served as contributors demonstrating the power of collaboration and youth-led solutions in addressing real-world challenges.

“Climate-smart agriculture begins with access to simplified, reliable information. This guide is a grassroots-driven step toward equipping our farmers with the knowledge to adapt and thrive,” said Joel Benson, the Team Lead and Editor behind the initiative.

The 2025 Climate Guide exemplifies the mission of ACIPAAY to use creativity, collaboration, and strategic communication to build a more sustainable agricultural landscape led by Africa’s youth.
