18 May 2025, New Delhi: Purple blotch alone can significantly impact the quality and storage life of onion bulbs. A modern and effective solution is the combination fungicide Boscalid 25.2% + Pyraclostrobin 12.8% WG, approved for use in onion cultivation.
This fungicide provides 190 grams of active ingredient per hectare, with a recommended formulation dosage of 500 grams per hectare. It is to be diluted in 500 litres of water for optimal coverage and performance.
This product stands out for its shorter 24-day waiting period between the last spray and harvest. This makes it ideal for mid-season applications where quick turnaround and effective disease control are required.
