Gomini Launches India’s First Managed Cow Care Service Platform, Reviving the Sacred Cow-Based Economy
25 August 2025, New Delhi: Gomini, a first-of-its-kind managed cow care service platform, has officially gone live in India with the aim of reviving the sacred cow-based economy through responsible ownership, wellness traditions, and rural empowerment. The Gomini app is now available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and has already received an encouraging response from early users.
The platform allows individuals—especially urban families—to own indigenous cows while ensuring that the animals are cared for by trained rural women and farmers. By doing so, Gomini hopes to reconnect people with India’s rural heritage while creating sustainable income opportunities in villages.
Founded in April 2025 by Dr. Arjun Sharma and Mr. Gauri Shankar, Gomini combines the potential of indigenous breeds, Panchagavya (traditional cow-based products), natural farming, and rural livelihoods with advanced technology. The company’s approach aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), touching on poverty alleviation, gender equality, sustainable agriculture, and climate action.
“Each cow that enters our ecosystem directly empowers a rural woman caretaker with sustainable income, enabling her to support her family and contribute to her community,” said Dr. Sharma. “Our mission is to restore the cultural, ecological, and economic significance of India’s native cows while building a bridge of trust and prosperity between urban owners and rural communities.”
Tradition Meets Technology
Gomini’s model is built around transparency and emotional connection. Each cow is RFID-tagged and assigned a blockchain-based NFT to provide secure and lifelong ownership records. IoT devices track health and daily activity, while AI systems monitor behaviour to detect early signs of illness or distress. Owners can also watch live farm feeds via CCTV-enabled computer vision. Looking ahead, the company is developing an augmented reality feature that will allow owners to interact with their cows virtually from anywhere.
More Than Just Cow Ownership
Owners under Gomini’s care receive pure A2 milk and a curated range of Panchagavya-based wellness products. The company also offers immersive experiences such as cow worship, rural tourism, craft learning, and spiritual retreats. Its ecosystem is invite-only, designed to ensure that each cow is treated with dignity and devotion.
A Vision for Sustainable Villages
As Gomini expands, it plans to create villages housing 500 or more cows, turning them into self-reliant, organic farming ecosystems. Headquartered in Bihar, the company envisions transforming India into an organic farming nation, one village at a time, blending traditional wisdom with cutting-edge innovation.
“With Gomini, we are not just launching a platform; we are starting a cultural and ecological revival,” Dr. Sharma added. “Our goal is to bring prosperity, purity, and purpose into every home through the sacred bond between humans and cows.”
