Lantmännen Unibake Expands In Savoury With Acquisition Of Boboli Benelux B.V.
02 September 2025, Sweden: Lantmännen Unibake, one of Europe’s largest bakery groups and part of the Swedish agricultural cooperative Lantmännen, has acquired Boboli Benelux B.V. a Dutch leader in savoury bakery products, providing customer solutions across bake-off and chilled technologies.
Boboli Benelux specialises in Mediterranean flatbreads – including focaccias, pizzas and pizza crusts – and has established strong positions in the Benelux, the UK and Germany. The company employs approximately 200 people and operates a state-of-the-art bakery in Bunschoten, which will become Lantmännen Unibake’s first bakery in the Netherlands. In 2024, the company reported net sales of approximately 50 million euros.
The acquisition reflects both market trends and strategic priorities. Boboli Benelux. brings deep expertise, significant capacity, and a solid track record of growth supported by recent investments. It will serve as a cornerstone in Unibake’s expansion in the savoury segment.
