Our Journey of Impact: Rivulis 2024 Sustainability Report

By Adi Mannor Kiraly, Rivulis

23 October 2025, USASustainability is what we get up every morning to do.
It’s our vision — Embrace the Planet. Feed the World. Change the Life of Every Farmer.
And it’s our mission — to help every grower Grow Beyond: beyond challenges, beyond expectations, and toward a more resilient future.

Impact You Can Measure

The 2024 Rivulis Sustainability Report reflects how we translate that vision into measurable action — through the products we design, the projects we deliver, and the partnerships we build.

In 2024, our solutions helped farmers grow more with less:

  • 1.48 billion cubic meters of water saved
  • 162 million kWh of energy conserved
  • 1.23 million tons of CO₂ emissions avoided
  • 740,000 tons of fertilizer saved

All impact estimates are based on Rivulis’ internal methodology, which calculates environmental savings by comparing micro-irrigation to traditional irrigation methods.

Making Micro Irrigation Accessible

This year’s stories highlight the impact of our collective efforts across the globe — showing how we make micro irrigation accessible to farmers, from the small landholder to the large corporate farm.

  • In India, Rivulis Impact Financing helped sugarcane farmers cut water use by 72% and increase net income by 47%, proving that accessible financing drives sustainable adoption.
  • In Italy, Rivulis Climate advanced to the second stage of Verra registration — one of only 27 agricultural projects globally — enabling growers to participate in the Voluntary Carbon Market and benefit from climate-smart practices.
  • Across Israel, Peru, Romania, Argentina, the USA, and India, Rivulis technologies are empowering farmers to grow more sustainably — from agrivoltaics and dry rice cultivation to organic cotton and smallholder drip kits.

Our People, Our Foundation

Sustainability starts with our people.
With 2,729 employees across 45 nationalities — and 33% of senior management roles held by women — Rivulis continues to grow as a diverse, inclusive, and safety-driven organization.

We expanded leadership and technical learning programs, including first-time manager coaching, AI-readiness training, and global team exchanges — connecting expertise and collaboration across regions. Through Drip Dispatch and What We Do Matters, we celebrated the people who make our impact real.

Sustainability in How We Operate

Our sustainability journey extends beyond our products and projects — it’s also in how we run our business.

  • 22.8% recycled raw materials were used in production, and 100% of internal plastic scrap was reused, advancing our circular economy goals.
  • We generated 2,072 MWh of solar energy in our facilities in Greece, Spain, and the UK, directly powering operations with renewable energy.
  • We integrated climate-related risks into our enterprise framework, expanded GHG emissions reporting to Scope 3, and reinforced data privacy, ethics, and compliance across all operations.
