The Deputy Chief Minister added that Telangana’s approach to rural development is built around a unified vision that connects digital infrastructure, agritech, fintech, renewable energy, and incubation networks. “Rural growth must be exponential, not incremental,” he said.

Tummala Nageswara Rao, Telangana’s Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Co-operation, and Handlooms & Textiles, reiterated the government’s commitment to building a robust agricultural ecosystem. He emphasized that strengthening cooperatives, market linkages, and farmer-focused innovation remains essential for India’s overall progress.

Highlighting the evolving needs of the rural economy, NABARD Chairman Shaji KV announced that the institution is developing a new “Rural Finance 2.0” architecture. The framework will integrate digital real-time Kisan Credit Card systems and data-driven underwriting. He said NABARD is working closely with the Government of India and several state governments, including Telangana, to digitize the cooperative sector. “Rural India must become the engine of economic growth, and this requires new institutions, new digital architectures, and new partnerships,” he added.
