Meghalaya Spice Festival in Mumbai Postponed, Revised Dates to Be Announced

29 January 2026, Mumbai: In light of the passing of Ajit Pawar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Government of Meghalaya has decided to postpone the Meghalaya Spice Festival scheduled to be held from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the Jio World Drive, Mumbai.

This decision has been taken as a mark of respect and in keeping with the state mourning period declared following the tragedy. The Government of Meghalaya extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families and stands in solidarity with the people and the Government of Maharashtra during this moment of loss.

Revised dates and further details regarding the Meghalaya Spice Festival will be announced in due course.
