03 July 2025, New Delhi: President of India, Ms. Droupadi Murmu conferred the prestigious Honoris Causa (D.Sc.) degree on Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General of ICAR, during the 11th Convocation of ICAR-IVRI held at Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
The honour recognises Dr. Jat’s outstanding contributions to agricultural science, research leadership, and policy development aimed at strengthening India’s agri-food systems.
