National Pulses Conference 2026 – India – Dates, Agenda, Speakers & Keynotes

With the objective of strengthening India’s pulses sector and enhancing farmers’ income, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), will organise a National Pulses Conference on 7 February 2026 in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh.

Event Agenda

The conference will be chaired by India’s Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The event will bring together the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav, along with Agriculture Ministers from all Indian states. As part of the preparatory process, a review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of the Union Agriculture Minister through video conferencing to assess arrangements and finalise the conference agenda.
