JK Tyre Launches ‘Shresth Plus’ Tractor Tyre for Modern Agricultural Applications

14 February 2026, Hisar: JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has introduced ‘Shresth Plus’, a new premium tractor tyre designed to support the evolving requirements of mechanized agriculture, including higher horsepower tractors, longer operational hours, and varied soil conditions.

The company said the launch strengthens its agricultural portfolio and reflects a continued focus on developing performance-oriented products for farmers and fleet operators seeking improved efficiency and durability in field and transport operations.

According to JK Tyre, the tyre has been engineered to deliver enhanced traction, stability, and longevity across diverse agricultural applications. “Indian agriculture is rapidly embracing mechanization and higher horsepower tractors,” said Mr. Srinivasu Allaphan, Director – Sales & Marketing, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. “With premiumisation at the core of our strategy, we are focused on bringing advanced, high-performance solutions to the farm segment. ‘Shresth Plus’ has been designed to provide reliability and consistent performance for modern farming needs.”

The tyre features a higher Non-Skid Depth (NSD) and a broader lug design to improve grip and extend service life, particularly in demanding field environments. Its optimized land distribution is aimed at ensuring better traction while maintaining smoother roadability during haulage.

An angular step lug pattern and tie-bar construction between lugs enhance stability and reduce tread movement under heavy loads. The tyre also incorporates a reinforced nylon body and strengthened buttress to improve load-carrying capacity and resistance to sidewall damage, enabling reliable performance across both on-field and on-road use.

JK Tyre offers a wide range of agricultural tyres tailored to different soil types, tractor categories, and operational requirements, and the company noted that ‘Shresth Plus’ has been developed to complement this portfolio while addressing the increasing performance expectations associated with farm mechanization.
