Mahindra Tractor Sales Surge in October 2025, Cross 73,000 Units
03 November 2025, New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a strong performance in tractor sales for October 2025, marking one of its best months to date. The festival season in India, which traditionally drives higher sales in the agriculture sector, contributed significantly to this milestone.
The company sold 72,071 tractors in the domestic market during October 2025, up from 64,326 units in the same month last year, recording a 12% year-on-year growth. Mahindra has become the first tractor manufacturer in India to cross the 70,000-unit mark in a single month.
Exports also showed robust growth. Mahindra shipped 1,589 tractors to international markets, compared to 1,127 units in October 2024, reflecting a 41% increase. The combined domestic and export sales stood at 73,660 units, up from 65,453 units in the same period last year, a 13% overall growth.

Vijay Nakra, President of Automotive & Farm Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., expressed satisfaction over the performance, noting that “the festive season boosted demand significantly, leading to a 27.4% growth during Diwali. Favorable monsoon conditions and the recent GST rate cut have also supported the market. We expect the momentum to continue with the start of the Rabi sowing season and harvesting of the Kharif crop.”
April–October Performance: 18% Growth
From April to October 2025, the company recorded total sales of 330,685 tractors, up from 280,302 units in the same period last year—an 18% rise. Of these, 319,407 units were sold domestically (up 18%), while 11,278 units were exported (up 16%).
