Solis Launches JP 975 Tractor with JP Tech Engine and 15F+5R Transmission
11 December 2025, New Delhi: Solis, the flagship brand of International Tractors Limited (ITL), has introduced the Solis JP 975, the first model built on its new tractor platform for the Indian market. The JP 975 features a newly developed JP Tech engine and a 15F+5R epicyclic transmission, marking a shift toward advanced powertrain configurations in the segment.
The Solis JP 975 is equipped with a JP Tech 4-cylinder engine that delivers up to 10% higher torque, reaching a peak of 205 Nm. The engine is paired with India’s first 15F+5R epicyclic transmission in this category. The model includes side-shift gears and offers a minimum of five working speed options to match major farm applications.
The tractor also incorporates a Smart Shuttle system designed to enable quick directional changes during field and loader operations. A ladder-type chassis is used to support structural stability and reduce vibration and noise during extended operation.
Commenting on the launch, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said the JP 975 is the first product in the company’s new JP series. He noted that ITL will introduce additional tractors based on this platform over the next year, with a focus on aligning engineering features with current farm operation requirements.
