Sonalika Marks 30 Years of Operations with Launch of ‘GOLD Series’ Tractors

06 February 2026, New Delhi: Sonalika Tractors has completed 30 years of operations in India and has announced the launch of a new tractor range named the Sonalika GOLD Series. The series includes two tractor models—GOLD DI 745 III and GOLD DI 55 III—introduced as part of the company’s anniversary activities.

According to the company, the new series has been developed to address current and upcoming farm mechanisation requirements. Sonalika stated that the design and engineering of the GOLD Series reflect its long-term approach toward farm equipment usage across different soil types and cropping patterns in India.

The GOLD Series has been positioned by the company as a long-term asset for farming operations. Sonalika stated that the tractors are designed with new components intended to support the use of larger farm implements and extended operating hours. The company said the series aligns with its stated philosophy of supporting farmers’ operational needs over time.

Engine, Transmission and Hydraulics

The GOLD DI 745 III tractor is equipped with a three-cylinder E3.5 engine with a displacement of 3532 cc, delivering a maximum torque of 220 Nm. The tractor features a 16 forward + 4 reverse multi-speed transmission. It is fitted with PTO and hydraulic systems rated for a 2,000 kg lifting capacity, along with heavy-duty linkages. The exhaust system has been redesigned for sustained usage during longer working periods.

The GOLD DI 55 III tractor is also powered by an E3.5 engine and is paired with a 12 forward + 3 reverse multi-speed driveline with a double clutch IPTO system. The tractor delivers a maximum torque of 235 Nm. It is equipped with a hydraulic system with a 2,200 kg lifting capacity and heavy-duty linkages for operating larger implements.

Both tractor models include features such as Jetline throttle control, headlamps, an operator deck platform, a digital instrument cluster, and a bonnet with gas struts for ease of access during maintenance.

Company Statement

Commenting on the launch, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Ltd, said that the company’s product development over the past three decades has been shaped by feedback from Indian farmers. He stated that the GOLD Series has been introduced to align engine capacity, transmission systems, and hydraulic performance with evolving farm equipment requirements.

He added that the company considers tractors as long-term capital investments for farm households and that the GOLD Series reflects this approach.
