Latest Recommended High-Yielding Soybean Varieties for Rajasthan (2025)
06 July 2025, Jaipur: Rajasthan’s soybean cultivation is expanding across southeastern districts such as Kota, Baran, and Jhalawar. Timely sowing with the right varieties suited to local soil and rainfall conditions can significantly boost productivity.
These varieties have been recommended by ICAR’s National Soybean Research Institute, Indore (Formerly Indian Institute of Soybean Research).

For optimal yield, farmers are advised to initiate sowing only after receiving 100 mm or more rainfall and to select early-maturing varieties for rainfed conditions or when taking a second crop.
