Lidea Academy: A Strategic Lever To Develop Talent And Leadership Across Europe
22 January 2026, EU: In an agricultural environment undergoing constant change, shaped by major economic, climatic and societal challenges, the long-term performance of a European seed company depends above all on the people who drive it forward. At Lidea, a leading European seed company, developing skills and leadership is a strategic priority that supports innovation, close relationships with farmers and collective performance.
It is within this context that Lidea Academy, Lidea’s internal university, was created. Designed as an innovative, collaborative and highly practical internal training initiative, Lidea Academy supports managers and teams across the group in strengthening their technical, managerial and behavioural skills, while at the same time promoting internal expertise within an organisation present in 16 European countries.
From the outset, Lidea Academy was conceived to be agile, multicultural and results-oriented. It offers a wide range of learning formats — e-learning modules, podcasts, expert videos, collaborative workshops, co-development sessions and coaching — all tailored to the realities of seed industry professions and aligned with the strategic priorities of Euralis’ Seeds Division. The objective is clear: enable employees to rapidly translate learning into concrete actions that drive collective performance.
After several years of deployment, Lidea Academy is now taking stock and reporting very positive initial results, both in terms of participation and the tangible impact on professional practices and team engagement.
