China Unveils 1,200-Horsepower Zoomlion DX7004: The World’s Most Powerful Hybrid Wheeled Tractor

29 September 2025, ChinaChinese machinery giant Zoomlion has unveiled the world’s most powerful hybrid wheeled tractor, the DX7004, at its Smart Industry City in Changsha. Standing nearly four meters tall and boasting 1,200 horsepower, the DX7004 sets a new benchmark for large-scale, high-intensity farming operations globally.

Designed with cutting-edge dual-motor hybrid powertrain, smart control systems, and centimeter-level precision autonomous operation, the DX7004 can manage approximately 480 hectares in a single day, making complex and large-scale farm operations more efficient and precise.

“DX7004 sets new standards in power, efficiency, and intelligent control,” said Liu Yuxin, General Manager of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery Company. “With technologies like electric continuously variable transmission, adaptive electric coordination, and full-speed autonomous driving, this tractor demonstrates how smart technology can transform modern agriculture.”

The tractor integrates a digital chassis and electric motor-driven hydraulic output for multi-functional implements, simplifying heavy-duty tasks. Its EPiot smart driving system and AOS Intelligent Operations Platform enable precise autonomous operation even at high speeds, making it a model for next-generation farming equipment.
