PHDCCI to Host Agribusiness Summit 2025 on “Tripling the Agricultural GDP” – December 8 at Taj Palace, New Delhi

10 November 2025, New Delhi: The Agribusiness Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) will host the Agribusiness Summit 2025 on December 8, 2025, at the Durbar Hall, Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. The one-day summit is themed “Tripling the Agricultural GDP through Innovative Technologies and High Quality Agri Inputs”.

The summit aims to bring together a cross-section of the agri-ecosystem: ministers, senior bureaucrats, industry leaders, scientists, agri-entrepreneurs, farmers, students and other key stakeholders will convene to discuss pathways for accelerating technology adoption, improving input quality and boosting farmer incomes across India.

Gayatri Sharma, Director, PHDCCI, highlighted the strategic importance of the event and the Chamber’s long history of industry engagement. “The Agribusiness Committee has been actively engaging with policymakers and stakeholders to advance sustainable and technology-driven agriculture in India.”

The summit will address the gap between agriculture’s share of employment and its contribution to national output while agriculture still employs roughly 45.76% of India’s workforce, it accounts for only about 18% of GDP, having significant potential for productivity gains through innovation and better inputs.
