
SML Limited Introduces SML Biologicals with StellarOn Registration and Rootiva Launch
07 July 2025, Mumbai: SML Limited (formerly known as Sulphur Mills Limited) has received the registration for its patented Biological solution ‘StellarOn’. StellarOn is a micro algae based new generation climate smart biostimulant. It is a high load formulation providing balanced nutrition to crops. The product has unique mechanism of action providing hydrolyzed protein in available form to majority of crops.
SML believes that SML Biologicals will provide farmers across India an access to advanced biological solutions that improve soil health and productivity with lesser dependency on synthetic fertilizer & chemicals. SML Biologicals is poised to help growers substantially and contribute towards sustainable agriculture in a big way.
Launch of ‘Rootiva’ Bio-fertilizer
SML marked its entry in Biologicals by launching a bio-fertilizer, Rootiva at Vietnam in the presence of esteemed Royal Platinum and Super Platinum Business Partners. SML has partnered with Novonesis, a global leader in biosolutions to introduce Rootiva.
Rootiva contains specially selected endomycorrhizal strains that effectively colonize mycorrhizae, enhancing phosphorus and water uptake, and increasing yield potential under varying planting conditions.

The timely introduction of Rootiva is a significant step towards integrating biological solutions into our existing nutrients & Crop protection range.
