Pivot Bio and MFA Incorporated Announce Distribution Collaboration
24 June 2025, Columbia: Pivot Bio has announced a distribution collaboration with MFA Incorporated, a farm supply and marketing cooperative based in the Midwest. The partnership will focus on providing corn growers in Missouri and nearby states access to Pivot Bio’s patented crop nutrition technology.
“MFA has been part of agriculture in the Midwest for over a century,” said Chris Turner, chief commercial officer at Pivot Bio. “They consistently look for ways to support farmers and are open to exploring new technologies. This collaboration is the first step toward working together on future initiatives.”
MFA serves more than 45,000 farmer-owners across Missouri and surrounding regions. The cooperative provides agricultural products and agronomic services aligned with farmers’ operational needs.
This rollout is directed at corn farmers interested in testing new nitrogen technologies and participating in data collection and evaluation.
Pivot Bio’s PROVEN 40 delivers nitrogen through gene-edited, nitrogen-fixing microbes applied at the root zone. These microbes release nitrogen in line with crop growth requirements. Manufactured in North America, PROVEN 40 enables corn growers to replace part of their synthetic nitrogen use with a microbe-based nitrogen source, aiming to reduce nitrogen loss and support crop performance.
