Bayer Celebrates Industry Excellence at ABIC 2025
18 August 2025, Australia: Bayer Crop Science connected with growers, showcased new crop protection innovations, and congratulated Dean Sinton as a 2025 Back a Grower Award recipient at the Australia Banana Industry Congress.
Bayer Crop Science Australia was proud to take part in the Australia Banana Industry Congress (ABIC) 2025, held from 6–8 August at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast. The congress brought together growers, researchers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and celebrate achievements.
At Stand 17, Bayer presented its latest crop protection solutions and offered personalised advice to help banana growers boost productivity and profitability. The event was also a valuable opportunity to connect directly with the industry and better understand grower needs.
Recognising the Back a Grower Award Winner
A highlight of the event was celebrating Dean Sinton as a 2025 Back a Grower Award recipient. This award acknowledges Dean’s commitment to the banana industry and was made possible through Bayer Crop Science’s continued support of the program. Dean visited the Bayer stand during the congress, where the team congratulated him in person.
