Bayer Crop Science Canada partners with 4-H Canada to spark youth interest in STEM nationwide
25 February 2026, Calgary: Bayer Crop Science Canada is partnering with 4-H Canada to launch Agents of STEM activity kits, potentially reaching more than 8000 youth of all ages across the country. The free, hands-on kits bring science, technology, engineering and math to life through interactive ‘missions’ that encourage creativity, collaboration and real-world problem solving.
“Inspiring curiosity and building practical STEM skills are essential to meeting tomorrow’s challenges, from healthier communities to sustainable, innovative food systems,” says Ginger Rozmus, Communications Director at Bayer. “We’re proud to support 4-H Canada in delivering the Agents of STEM kits to thousands of young people across the country. Through this investment, we believe we’re investing in the next generation Canada’s agriculture leaders, whether they become scientists, farmers, or entrepreneurs.”
The Agents of STEM kits make STEM approachable for youth of all ages by uncovering the science in everyday life. It includes an activity book packed with colourful, mission-based challenges, and an activity kit with most of the materials needed to complete a variety of projects. To guide youth through the kits, a dedicated Facilitator’s Guide is provided to make sure facilitators have everything they need to run sessions confidently, no STEM background required.
“These kits give young people the chance to explore, experiment, and learn to do by doing – which is at the heart of the 4-H experience,” says Nadine Sisk, 4-H Canada’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Support from dedicated partners, such as Bayer, helps us make hands-on learning opportunities more accessible to youth across Canada, empowering them to build confidence, develop practical skills, and discover new interests that can shape their futures.”
The Agents of STEM kits are available to local 4-H Clubs across Canada and provide free resources and programming. Register for Agents of STEM, here: https://4-h-canada.ca/programs/outreach-initiatives/agents-of-stem/
