Corteva to Launch Forcivo Fungicide in USA for Broad-Spectrum Foliar Disease Control in Corn, Soybeans and Row Crops
16 June 2025, New Delhi: Corteva Agriscience has announced the upcoming launch of its new Forcivo fungicide in the United States, offering farmers a powerful new solution to protect corn, soybeans, and several other key row crops from damaging foliar diseases. Currently pending final registration approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Forcivo combines three highly effective active ingredients: flutriafol, azoxystrobin, and fluindapyr.
The triple-action formulation is designed to control a wide range of diseases such as tar spot, southern rust, and frogeye leaf spot in corn and soybeans. Its overlapping preventive and curative modes of action strengthen disease management, ensuring that even if certain diseases develop reduced sensitivity to one ingredient, the other actives remain effective.
Beyond corn and soybeans, Forcivo fungicide is positioned as a flexible tool for farmers growing wheat, barley, sorghum, and triticale. Its broad-spectrum activity addresses recurring fungal infections that often spread across fields and seasons, giving growers a robust solution for year-over-year disease pressure.
In addition to disease control, Forcivo is engineered to enhance plant health and boost yield potential. The fungicide offers residual activity lasting up to 30 days, providing long-lasting protection well into the later stages of the growing season. This extended defense helps farmers reduce late-season yield losses, optimize return on investment, and protect revenue per acre through to harvest.
Mike Eiberger, U.S. Marketing Leader at Corteva, emphasized Forcivo’s role in strengthening disease resistance management while supporting productivity and profitability. He also noted the product’s low application rate of 7 to 9 fluid ounces per acre, making it cost-effective and easy to handle, mix, and apply.
To further support growers, Corteva will offer Forcivo fungicide through its TruChoice® offer, allowing farmers to bundle purchases with other Corteva crop protection products, nitrogen stabilizers, and Pioneer® brand seeds. This program enables upfront savings and flexible financing options through online prepayment or participating retailers.
Once regulatory approvals are complete, Corteva plans to make Forcivo fungicide available for inclusion in U.S. growers’ 2026 disease management programs.
