En-Strip by Koppert: Parasitic Wasps for Effective Control of Greenhouse Whitefly

01 August 2025, New Delhi: En-Strip, developed by Koppert, contains the parasitic wasp Encarsia formosa, a natural enemy specialized in the control of whitefly, particularly the greenhouse whitefly. This biological control agent is effective at a lower temperature range than Eretmocerus eremicus, making it suitable for use in cooler conditions.

En-Strip can be applied preventively or at the first signs of whitefly infestation, providing early suppression to prevent population build-up and crop damage. Its targeted parasitism helps reduce the need for chemical insecticides, supporting sustainable integrated pest management.
