
ICAR-NSRI Releases List of Recommended Herbicides for Soybean Crop in India
15 July 2025, New Delhi: The ICAR – National Soybean Research Institute (NSRI) has released an updated list of recommended herbicides for soybean cultivation in India based on the approvals issued by the Central Insecticides Board (CIB) as of March 31, 2025. The advisory includes herbicides for Pre-Emergence (PE), Post-Emergence (POE), and Pre-Mixed POEapplications. This list aims to support farmers in timely and effective weed management for improving soybean yield and reducing the cost of manual weeding.
