Nufarm Receives U.S. EPA Registration for Naxypro® and Naxypro® Plus Insecticides
31 October 2025, US: Nufarm Americas Inc. has announced that its new insecticides Naxypro® and Naxypro® Plus have received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Both products feature chlorantraniliprole, a Nufarm-registered active ingredient known for providing long-lasting and effective control against major lepidopteran pests that threaten crop yields.
Naxypro®, containing 1.69 lb/gal of chlorantraniliprole, offers rapid protection for up to three weeks against chewing and sucking pests such as codling moth, navel orangeworm, and peach twig borer. Designed for flexible integration into Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs, it supports a wide range of specialty crops.
Naxypro® Plus, formulated with chlorantraniliprole (0.89 lb/lb) and bifenthrin (1.33 lb/lb), targets broad-acre crops including soybeans, corn, cereals, and cotton. It provides control of armyworm, earworm, and soybean looper, as well as other damaging insects such as aphids, mites, and whiteflies.
Nufarm is also awaiting EPA registration for Naxypro® Duo, a forthcoming two-way formulation combining chlorantraniliprole and bifenthrin. Once approved, Naxypro Duo will deliver broad-spectrum pest control for high-value crops such as tree nuts, fruits, and vegetables, while minimizing impact on beneficial insect populations.
