Tagros Chemicals to Acquire Bayer’s Global Flubendiamide Business
14 January 2026, New Delhi: Tagros Chemicals India Private Limited has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the global assets of Bayer AG related to the Flubendiamide (FLB) active ingredient business across Latin America (LATAM), Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.
Under the transaction, Tagros will acquire solo and mixture formulations linked to the FLB active ingredient, along with a broad set of associated business assets. These include key trademarks – Belt, Fame, Fenos, Fenos Quick, Belt Expert and Tihan.
The acquisition expands Tagros’ access to markets in more than 25 countries, strengthening its global presence and reinforcing its standing in the Diamide insecticide segment. It also marks a strategic milestone for the company, enabling its entry into the B2C formulations space. This new vertical will operate under Tagros’ recently established entity, Arqivo.
EY India acted as the M&A advisor to Tagros on the transaction, while Khaitan & Khaitan served as legal advisor.
