UPL Launches ‘Nuvita’ Biosolution in Brazil to Boost Corn and Soybean Nutrition

14 July 2025, New Delhi: UPL has introduced a new biosolution called Nuvita in Brazil, aimed at improving nutrient efficiency in corn and soybean crops. The innovation is part of UPL’s Natural Plant Protection (NPP) platform, which focuses on agricultural inputs of natural and biological origin.

Nuvita is a foliar application that blends key nutrients with selected plant extracts. It is designed to enhance the formation of aquaporins, proteins that improve water and nutrient absorption throughout the plant. This leads to more efficient nitrogen uptake and stronger plant growth.

Field trials conducted across 18 locations in Brazil showed up to a 50% increase in nitrogen use efficiency in corn crops, contributing to improved fertilizer utilization and higher yields.
