Agrion Crop Solutions: The New Name For DKSH Agrisolutions
18 August 2025, AU: Similarly, West Australian farmers will easily recognize brands like Enhance, SE14, Biopest, Plantocrop and Wetta 1000.
Since 2022, the combined range of crop protection and turf products from the former SST Australia and SACOA were sold under the banner of DKSH Agrisolutions. This has recently changed.
Introducing Agrion Crop Solutions
Effective mid-July 2025, the combined portfolio of premium soil and tank mix adjuvants will be available from the rebranded Agrion Crop Solutions.
Agrion Crop Solutions is more than just a re-brand; our new name, appearance, colors, logo and website signal a directional change for the company that is supported by the trusted brands it is built upon, and the strong backing of the Swiss corporation DKSH.
The name “Agrion” derives from ancient Greek, meaning “wild” or “living in open spaces.” In biology, Agrion was historically a genus of damselflies – delicate, vibrant and colorful creatures. Inspired by this, Agrion Crop Solutions adopts the agility, focus and precision displayed by the vibrant damselfly to deliver a focused range of products for modern farming.
A common characteristic of damselflies (and their close relatives dragonflies) is their inseparable association with water. This also applies to Agrion Crop Solutions where they acknowledge the increasingly important role of water in agricultural and recreational turf systems. Take SE14 Soil Moisture Retainer for example. It has become an indispensable input for retention of soil moisture in hard-to-wet soils or marginal cropping areas.
Another example of Agrion Crop Solutions’ focus on improving the utility of water is their industry-leading range of tank-mix adjuvants. Almost every liquid pesticide product uses water as a carrier. It is their job and area of expertise to provide a bespoke range of adjuvants for every spray situation or application type.
Farming and the demands associated with it are constantly changing, and just like all living creatures need to adapt to survive due to factors mostly beyond our control, so it must.
Agrion Crop Solutions is your partner through these changes. To stay ahead of the curve and to be able to deliver soil wetters that are able to mitigate the risks of climate change, Agrion Crop Solutions recently established a one-of-its-kind Soil Adjuvant Research laboratory dedicated to the evaluation of new generation soil wetters and other soil additives.
Here, they can study the dynamics of the rhizosphere under controlled conditions – to bring you quality data about the effects, interactions and efficiencies of any material introduced into the soil.
Since the majority of their products are used as tank-mix adjuvants, Agrion Crop Solutions also recently established a unique Compatibility Testing Unit consisting of a laboratory dedicated to testing and validation of tank mix compatibility, as well as spraying equipment used to test sprayability (behaviour of spray mixtures inside the spray tank).
Over the next few months, growers and customers will start receiving products with their new-look Agrion Crop Solutions labels and streamlined packaging.
