State Government To Fulfill Genuine Demands Of Arhtiyas Soon: Agriculture Minister
26 July 2025, New Delhi: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. Shyam Singh Rana, said that the state government will soon fulfill the genuine demands of Arhtiyas (commission agents). He emphasized that Arhtiyas are friends of farmers and that both work in close cooperation to accomplish their respective responsibilities.
Mr. Rana was chairing the meeting of the representatives of the Arhtiya Association in Chandigarh today.
Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Mr. Anshaj Singh, Chief Administrator Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Mr. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Managing Director of Haryana State Warehousing Corporation Limited Dr. Shaleen, and representatives of the Arhtiya Association were also present in the meeting.
Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr. Shyam Singh Rana said that the state government is welfare-oriented and committed to the well-being of all sections of society. He assured that the pending wheat commission of the Arhtiyas will be cleared soon.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various issues, including the no-dues clearance of old shops of Mandi traders, their licenses, the cleanliness system in the Mandi, as well as concerns raised by representatives of the Miller Association and the Flour Mill Association.
The Agriculture Minister attentively listened to the demands of all traders and directed the officials to consider all their genuine demands sympathetically.
