
Conab Estimating 2025/26 Brazil Soybean Production at 177.6 mt
08 October 2025, Brazil: Conab is estimating that Brazilian farmers will increase their 2025/26 soybean acreage by 3.66% to 49.08 million hectares (121.2 million acres). The states with the largest increases are Mato Grosso (+395,500 hectares), Mato Grosso do Sul (+232,100 hectares), and Bahia (+199,800 hectares). The average nationwide yield is estimated at 60.33 sacks per hectare (53.9 bu/ac). Brazil’s 2025/26 soybean production is estimated at 177.67 million tons, up 3.61%. Note – the USDA is currently estimating the 2025 U.S. soybean yield at a record 53.5 bu/ac).
