STIHL India Launches ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from Indore to Champion Farm Mechanization
26 May 2025, Indore: STIHL India has officially kicked off the ‘Parivartan Yatra’, a 45-day statewide campaign designed to promote farm mechanization and sustainable agricultural practices across Madhya Pradesh. The initiative was flagged off from Kasturba Gram Krishi Vikas Kendra, Indore, in the presence of local dignitaries and senior STIHL India officials.
STIHL, a globally recognized German brand with over 95 years of expertise, is known for its innovative and reliable outdoor power tools. Through this campaign, the company aims to empower farmers by showcasing the advantages of modern mechanized farming.
Over the next 45 days, the Parivartan Yatra will travel across various towns and districts of Madhya Pradesh. It will engage with farmer communities through live demonstrations, on-ground interactions, and awareness drives, highlighting how mechanization can improve productivity, reduce manual labor, and promote sustainable practices.
The flag-off event witnessed the presence of several notable guests, including Mr. Madhu Verma (MLA), Ms. Priyanka Chauhan (Councilor), Dr. Radhe Shyam Tellar (Head, KVK Indore), and Dr. Arpana Vajpayee (Chief Scientist). In their addresses, they underscored the importance of adopting modern agricultural tools to increase efficiency and competitiveness in farming. Dr. Vajpayee emphasized that mechanization is a key driver of transformation in India’s agriculture sector.
Representing STIHL India at the event were Mr. Digvijoy Tripathi (Regional Head – West), Mr. Pradumn Chaturvedi (Trade Marketing Manager), Mr. Animesh Waghela (Area Sales Manager), and Mr. Umesh Sharma (State Head – MP & Gujarat). They shared the goals of the campaign and reaffirmed STIHL’s dedication to supporting Indian farmers with high-performance, trustworthy equipment.
The event concluded with a ceremonial flag-off, symbolizing the start of the roadshow’s journey across Madhya Pradesh. The Parivartan Yatra will continue to raise awareness, build community engagement, and encourage farmers to embrace efficient, mechanized, and future-ready farming solutions.
