TAFE Launches Hybrid Tractor EVX75 at Agritechnica 2025

11 November 2025, New Delhi: At Agritechnica 2025, TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers, introduced its electric hybrid tractor, the TAFE EVX75, and marked the selection of its TAFE EV28 electric tractor as a finalist for the “Tractor of the Year (TOTY) 2026” Award in the Sustainable Tractor Category.

Alongside the EVX75, TAFE presented its vision guidance system and new range that includes the 100 HP TAFE 1015 tractor with a new cab, 74 HP orchard and fruit tractor (TAFE 7515 GE), and the Compact Utility Series, 65 HP (TAFE 6065), developed to support varied operations and requirements of European farmers.

TAFE is evolving from a tractor manufacturer into a farm-solutions enterprise, with a goal to strengthen its position in the sub-100 horsepower tractor segment. The company is investing in precision agriculture technology, automation, and alternate-energy systems for farming applications across markets.

Hybrid Tractor TAFE EVX75

The TAFE EVX75 uses a 75 HP hybrid powertrain combining an EU Stage V diesel engine and a 400 V electric battery system. The dual powertrain allows operation in zero-emission electric mode and hybrid mode for fieldwork, providing flexibility and fuel efficiency. The model reduces emissions and operating costs while maintaining performance standards in global farming.

The EVX75 features a liquid-cooled high-voltage system for consistent operation, a 3-speed transmission with a top speed of 40 km/h, an HVAC cab, electro-hydraulic rear lift, and independent PTO. High-flow hydraulics and automation-compatible technology make it suitable for multiple field and utility operations.

Utility Series

The TAFE 1015 represents TAFE’s entry into the 100+ HP category. It features a 103 HP EU Stage V engine, 30F + 15R Power Shuttle transmission, and a 4000 kg lift capacity. The model includes a climate-controlled cabin designed for operator comfort and productivity.

Compact Series – TAFE 6065 

The TAFE 6065 Series is powered by a 65 HP Stage V engine and comes with hydrostatic or mechanical shuttle transmission options. Its lightweight chassis helps minimize soil compaction and provides maneuverability for orchards, vineyards, and municipal applications. It includes a full-frame cabin, with a variant available in Category IV.

Fruit and Orchard Series – TAFE 7515 GE

The TAFE 7515 GE is a low-profile, narrow-track tractor developed for vineyards, fruit farms, and hilly terrains. It features a 74 HP Stage V engine, optimized ground clearance, and a tight turning radius to support operations in confined spaces and under canopies.
