VST Tillers Tractors Launches Electric Power Tiller and Electric Power Weeder at EIMA Agrimach 2025

27 November 2025, New DelhiVST Tillers Tractors Ltd. introduced its Electric Power Tiller and Electric Power Weeder at the 9th EIMA Agrimach in New Delhi. The launch was carried out by S. Rukmani, Joint Secretary (M&T), Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. This marks the company’s entry into the electric farm machinery segment.

Mr. Antony Cherukara, CEO of VST Tillers Tractors, said that both machines have been developed and manufactured in-house. He noted that the company aims to meet the operational requirements of farmers while lowering emissions and reducing operating costs through these electric models.

VST’s work on electric mechanisation builds on its earlier supply of drivetrain components to autonomous electric tractor manufacturers in the United States. The company is now applying this experience to the small-farm mechanisation segment in India.

At EIMA Agrimach 2025, VST also displayed a range of equipment, including the 16 HP ES Power Tiller, the 13 HP ES Power Tiller, the Ranger 50, the Ranger 80 R, the Ranger 80 RR, the Reaper, the Maize Reaper, various weeder attachments, portable engine solutions, and the VST Zetor 50 HP tractor. This display covered the company’s primary lines across tillers, tractors, and attachments.

VST has plans to introduce its electric tiller and electric weeder in European and other overseas markets as part of its global expansion efforts.

The company reported sales of 37,297 power tillers in FY25, compared to 36,480 units in FY24. VST expects the addition of electric machinery to contribute to further growth and to support the shift toward lower-emission farm operations.
