
Latest Recommended High-Yielding Soybean Varieties for Telangana (2025)
06 July 2025, Hyderabad: Telangana’s soybean farmers can significantly improve yields by selecting regionally recommended varieties adapted to local climate and soil conditions. The Telangana Agricultural University recommends early to medium maturity varieties suitable for timely harvesting and resilience to heat stress.
These varieties have been recommended by ICAR’s National Soybean Research Institute, Indore (Formerly Indian Institute of Soybean Research).

- Phule Durva (KDS 992)
- NRCMACS 1667
- NRC 142
- MACS 1460
- NRC 132

- KDS 753 (Phule Kimaya)
- KBS 23
Farmers are advised to monitor monsoon onset closely and start sowing after at least 100 mm of rainfall for optimum germination and growth.
