Clean Seed Capital and Mahindra Begin Manufacturing of SMART Seeder MINI-MAX™ in India
29 October 2025, Mumbai: Clean Seed Capital Group Ltd. has announced the start of full-scale manufacturing of the SMART Seeder MINI-MAX™ at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s facility in Pithampur, India.
This marks the operational rollout of Clean Seed’s scalable seeding technology through its manufacturing partnership with Mahindra, the world’s largest tractor producer by volume. Executives from both companies attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility, where MINI-MAX™ units are being prepared for shipment to Mexico and Brazil. The first orders for Canada have also been dispatched.
Collaboration and Production Progress
Clean Seed’s executive team visited India to review the partnership’s progress with Mahindra and to engage with government representatives.
At Mahindra headquarters in Mumbai, meetings were held with Mr. Jaydeep Desai, Head of Strategy & Business Development, Farm Machinery, to review production updates, export planning, and policy support under India’s subsidy program for advanced agricultural technologies.
The team also met with Ms. Anusha Kothandaraman, VP & Business Head, Farm Machinery, and participated in government discussions attended by Indian and Canadian officials focused on technology-driven agricultural practices.
The visit concluded with the official launch of the SMART Seeder MINI-MAX™ production line at Mahindra’s Pithampur plant, where assembled machines, testing processes, and packaging operations were demonstrated.
