IMMA to Host Strategic Industry Gathering in New Delhi, Focusing on Next-Gen Leadership and Policy Dialogue
31 July 2025, New Delhi: The Indian Micro Fertilizers Manufacturers Association (IMMA) will convene a high-level industry event on August 2 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, bringing together stakeholders from across India’s micronutrient and agri-input sectors. The event will serve as a platform for next-generation leadership engagement, industry-media interaction, and direct dialogue with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fertilizer on policy priorities and sectoral challenges.
The day-long gathering will include a closed-door session for emerging leaders of IMMA member companies—especially those who participated in the IIM-A (Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad) leadership program—aimed at expanding the Association’s Managing Committee and preparing future office bearers. A formal media briefing will follow, where IMMA leadership will share insights on current policy issues, regulatory developments, and the Association’s long-term vision for the micronutrient sector. The latter half of the day will focus on a Business-to-Government (B2G) Roundtable featuring key representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Department of Fertilizers, to deliberate on matters such as the Fertilizer Control Order, innovation in micronutrient formulations, and creating a conducive business environment for manufacturers.

Since its establishment in 1986 by industry pioneers Dr. S.S. Ranadey, Dr. G.P. Shetty, and Late Dr. T.B. Mirchandani, IMMA has played a pivotal role in uniting micronutrient manufacturers, guiding regulatory compliance, and educating stakeholders. The Association actively promotes technical knowledge, farmer welfare, and policy awareness through seminars, demonstrations, and advisories. As India moves toward more sustainable and efficient crop nutrition solutions, IMMA continues to serve as a critical voice for balanced fertilization and responsible agri-input use.
