Corteva Agriscience Launches New Fungicide Zorvec Entecta for Grapes and Potatoes in India
12 September 2025, New Delhi: Corteva Agriscience has launched Zorvec Entecta, a fungicide for grapes and potatoes in India. Based on Zorvec technology, the product is said to provide protection against Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola) in grapes and Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans) in potatoes.
Zorvec Entecta® contains two active ingredients (Technical: 240g/l Amisulbrom + 48g/l Oxathiapiprolin) from Group 21 and 49 of Fungicides that target oomycete plant diseases. The fungicide is said to move systemically (xylem systemic) within the plant, covering both treated and new foliage. It is also reported to help manage resistance through two different modes of action.
For grape growers, Zorvec Entecta® is said to provide protection against Downy Mildew across growth stages. For potato growers, it is reported to support management of Late Blight and is said to have shown effectiveness under disease pressure in internal trials.
Corteva recommends a program for grapes and potatoes where Zorvec Entecta® is applied in sequence with Curzate M8 (ZCZC), starting early in crop development. This sequence is said to ensure continued protection through critical stages.
Zorvec is already present in other agricultural markets. Corteva Agriscience has said it will roll out Zorvec Entecta® across more regions in India in the coming months.
