FiBL and ITAB presenting the French input list at Tech&Bio

06 October 2025, Switzerland: FiBL’s collaboration with its partners was strengthened at the 2025 edition of the Tech&Bio international trade fair.

At the international agricultural fair Tech&Bio 2025, FiBL Switzerland and ITAB, the French organic food and farming institute, unveiled the French Input List. This list is the result of a five-year cooperation agreement signed at Tech&Bio 2023 by ITAB, FiBL Switzerland, and FiBL France.

The agreement aims to develop joint projects of mutual interest, among other things. The French Input List is a positive list of commercial products that can be used in organic farming in France. It provides transparency, regulatory alignment and scientific rigour in the evaluation of organic inputs.

During the launch, the ITAB team emphasised the strategic importance of the project for the French organic sector and the value of the partnership with FiBL. Carlo Gamper Cardinali, head of the Inputs group at FiBL Switzerland, explained “The input lists enable farmers to secure their practices, while highlighting manufacturers who are committed to quality.”

In France, manufacturers can now apply to register their fertilisers and soil improvers via the website www.france.inputs.eu.
