Supple Tek Marks Farmer’s Day 2025 by Supporting 3,500 Farmers with Science-Led Sustainable Practices
18 December 2025, Punjab: On the occasion of Farmer’s Day, Supple Tek highlighted its ongoing efforts to strengthen India’s agricultural sector through structured, science-driven and farmer-centric initiatives aimed at improving productivity while ensuring sustainability.
Across Punjab and Haryana, Supple Tek has engaged nearly 3,000–3,500 farmers under a Compliance Pesticide Program, implemented in collaboration with Syngenta and Bayer Crop Science. The programme focuses on promoting good agricultural practices, responsible and judicious use of pesticides, and effective crop disease management. Through regular farmer interactions, field demonstrations and knowledge-sharing platforms, the initiative has contributed to reducing crop losses and improving overall farm health and sustainability.
In parallel, Supple Tek’s Paddy Seed Production Program has emerged as a quality-focused model for certified seed development. The programme operates under strict protocols, including collaboration with IARI for breeder seed sourcing, certified seed production monitored by the Haryana Government Seed Certification Agency, and structured farmer capacity-building. This includes one-day technical training at BEDF, Modipuram (Meerut, Uttar Pradesh) and fortnightly village-level meetings to provide hands-on agronomic guidance.
Currently, 30 farmers are actively involved in the seed production initiative. The certified paddy seeds developed under this programme have been distributed across Punjab and Haryana, enabling farmers to improve grain quality, yields and on-farm profitability.
“Farmers are at the centre of our journey and the reason India continues to stand strong as a global agricultural leader,” a Supple Tek spokesperson said. “Beyond increasing productivity, our initiatives are designed to ensure long-term profitability, sustainability and safety for farming communities. On this Farmer’s Day, we recognise their resilience and reaffirm our commitment to supporting them through research, education and innovation.”
